What do you get with a ticket?

Every ticket includes admission, unlimited full pours of Sapporo Premium, Bud Light, Shocktop, Stella Cidre, Goose Island IPA, and wine spritzers, 10 tasting tokens of all of the craft beers, ciders and wines at the festival, entry into the first round of Boozie Bingo, live entertainment, and lawn games. Food trucks and other vendors will be on-site selling food, artisan goods and other trinkets (costs extra).

What is the difference between unlimited and the tasting tokens?

Every ticket will include UNLIMITED full pours (14oz) of Sapporo Premium, Bud Light, Shocktop, Stella Cidre, Goose Island IPA, and wine spritzers.  Every ticket also includes 10 tasting tokens – these can be used to for 4oz tastings of the 100+ craft beers and ciders, or 2oz tastings of the 100+ wines that will also be featured at the event. If you would like additional tasting tokens for the wines, craft beers and ciders, there will be additional tokens for purchase onsite, 5 tokens for $10 at the Merchandise Booth.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Our recommendation is to take the Green line to the Navy Yard station. The event is across the street from Nationals Ball Park. If you would like to drive there is limited street parking throughout the neighborhood. We recommend taking Lyft — new user code DTD17 gets you great deals!

What do I need to bring with me?

You need to bring your ticket (can be on your phone) and you ID. We also recommend bringing a cell phone, some money, and you plan ahead on how you will go to and from the festival.  Lawn chairs, camping chairs, coolers, outside food, and portable radios will not be permitted.

Do I need to buy a ticket before the event?

There will be a limited number of tickets sold at the door, unless we sell out prior to the event. We recommend buying your tickets in advance to the event.  All Wine Lovers Packages are sold out.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You will need to either bring your printed ticket or you will need to pull up your ticket on your phone.  If you purchased through Groupon or Living Social, please be sure to redeem your vouchers before you arrive.  Enter your voucher under “Enter Promotional Code” on the Buy Tickets page, and a ticket option equivalent to your voucher will pop up for you to select.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards when buying your ticket online.  Most food trucks accept credit card and cash.  ATMs will be available onsite.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All attendees must be over 21 to attend. You will need to provide a government issued photo ID card verifying your age to receive admittance into the event.

Do you offer media passes?

A very limited number of media passes are available.  Please see our Contact Us page to request a pass.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs and other animals will not be allowed into the festival.  Service animals are always welcome.

Can I bring my baby/toddler/child?

Cherry Blossom Wine & Beer is a 21+ event. For their safety, children are not permitted into the venue.

Will there be non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes – water and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at food trucks and booths onsite.

What is your entry/exit policy?

There is no re-entry into the event.

What is your smoking policy?

Smoking is allowed at our outdoor venue, however we request you be respectful of your smoke-free friends!

Is the event ADA accessible?

Yes – the event is ADA accessible.
